~Drayk as a Quadrupedal Beta Male~
Not as large and fear inducing as their Alpha Male Counterparts but their
speed and agility makes them just as dangerous.

Much like their bipedal brethren these quadrupedal shurian counterparts are just as vicious and predatorial. Hunting with a pack like mentality it is highly advised to be cautious around them as their intelligence puts them higher than most other creatures in the foodchain.

Highly advised due to their cooperative hunting methods that if you see one alone by itself, to cautiously remove yourself from the immediate area. Chances are that others are nearby or more dangerously so you came across the pack lure. Often times these creatures will let a weaker male linger about to attract other predators, however this act only serves to bait the soon to be prey as the other more stronger and experienced males lie in wait, circling, hiding nearby so that their target has little chance of retreat.

Although the female of this species has very little been seen it is hypothesized that they are usually guarded closely by the stronger alpha type males. The alpha types on occasion will join the beta's on hunts, but more times than not they stay with the female along with a few other beta's which patrol intermittently around the area.

Seeing one of these Beta's alone either means one of two things, once more encountering a hunting party as was state above, which poses its own threats. Or the more dangerous of the two, encroaching upon the territory of the matriarchal female in which case her beta's will likely swarm, or her prized alpha will fetch you itself.
