Politics is a game and Democrats suck at it

Nailed it, 100%

Once the #ReleaseTheMemo is out, the memo is gonna be released, some day or another. Fighting it just makes you look like you've got something to hide, it improves the hype around the memo, it make it loo, like it's really devastating for you.
So, what Dems should do is ask for it to be released, tell how it's not relevant 'cause it is incredibly partisan. Even if the memo is damaging to you, by asking it to be released you would lower the hype, make it look less damaging...

And since Trump and the GOP attack the FBI, be on the FBI's side, be the party that defends law enforcement forces against the crooks and the corupts the FBI's trying to catch and who are trying to destroy it because they fell threatened by cops investigating crooks.
Conservatives like to boast about how they are the party of law and order, how they defend cops against the criminals they like to say the democrats support. So the clever way to react to the GOP's war on the FBI would be to frame it as conservatives supporting crooks and democrats supporting law enforcement forces, to turn the tables on them.

But, for some reason, they can't figure that out :brick:

Or the GOP can simply point out that the Democrats support corrupt law enforcement wholeheartedly.

No one is criticizing rank and file FBI agents. Only their crooked superiors.

Or the GOP can simply point out that the Democrats support corrupt law enforcement wholeheartedly.

It would not resonate better than "Republicans support unnecessary police brutality".

Currently 50+ republican lawmakers are refusing to seek re-election, and the longer the Mueller investigation goes on, more will drop.

Most lefties would agree.

That’s about the 5th time that you have posted that meme.

Riverside Iowa is James T. Kirk’s future birthplace and is located in Washington County Iowa and is a Republican stronghold.
Perhaps Ace since he is an Iowan can shed some perspective on this but it is highly unlikely that James or his family will be voting Democrat anytime in the distant future.

Star Trek (the original series) is set-up between 2265 ans 2270, that's 250 years from now. 250 years ago, the Republican party didn't existed (it was founded in 1854) so I guess it is quite possile that it will no longer be a thing in 2270 (same about the Democratic Party).

According to Star Trek lore, the First Contact with an alien civilisation (2063) drastically changed everything. In a few decades Humanity united (under a global government), eradicated hunger, poverty, diseases, pollution, and money. So i guess political parties would also be very different.
In Star Trek's future, I guess there's no Republicans. And no Democrats.
But we're talking about fiction here...

I just remembered that there are Republicans in Star Trek, the Ferengi, all they care about is making a profit and their women aren't allowed to own anything.
