| I wonder how it is exactly that I get invited to a random club, especially to one that centers on dank anime. Not that I'm complaining or anything. Maybe it was my forum set and profile pic...Well I don't really have much to do, so I might as well join in. Never hurts to expand my networks further. Anyway, the introduction! Where is it...where is it... I've known about Anime since I was a little kid, as I have lived in Japan for the first half of my life. The first two anime that I've seen were G Gundam and Dragon Ball Z, and this was before Subs and dubs were even released! Then I got into Slayers, and that sparked my interest in anime. Afterwards, due to life, I had to put my Anime viewing on hiatus. When I was in college, I never had any time to watch any anime. But now, I've been on an anime binge and been trying to catch up with all the new anime coming out while still watching some of the older anime that I missed out on. I tried using Facebook to keep track of all the anime that I've seen, but it doesn't work very well. So I made a profile on myanimelist to utilize the Anime Lister here. Watching anime is a hobby of mine. Though I'm a rather quiet person, I like to share my opinions and recommendations if someone asks, which is why I'm posting on this forum. Also, the previous forum I lurked on became rather inactive... Anyway, I'll be on here frequently to keep myself from being bored at work, hehe. Feel free to ask me anything. Discuss a certain anime? Recommendation from a specific genre? A review of an anime that I watched? Perhaps my opinion on a certain character? Ask away! I'm not restricted to anything (except maybe a few personal things). And don't worry about being afraid to ask about a specific genre because I watch EVERYTHING! Nice to meet you all. Let's get along! |

| Hello everyone! I'm... not very good at introducing myself, so that's kind of a problem. Well, at least I'll give it a go. Name's TahZin, which is a sort of word play on my real name. But of course, it's not much of a secret since that's given away in my profile. Sheesh... I can't really remember how I joined this group, someone invited me. It was probably few weeks ago, when I was extremely busy with real life issues, so sorry about that. I try to find the good side of almost every anime, squeezing out the least bit of excitement I can from any anime, manga, movies, series, games etc. Even from the ones that are widely criticized or ignored. A bad luck of mine: for some reasons, whenever someone highly suggests an anime to me, it look as if I don't have the least bit of time for that! Can't find time for that one no matter how much I try. Also, I'd like to say I'm really really impressed with this club. Not pampering, I AM enjoying my time here. Hope to keep on being a regular member here! |

The name says it all, an impossible mission statement to master anime. I'm not one to usually participate; more than obvious from my profile. But then again, why not. I've been watching Anime for 15+ years, since the 90's. Gundam Wing, Dragon Ball - (Z), Sailor Moon, Astro Boy, Thunder Cats, Cowboy Bebop, Yu Yu Hakusho. Granted there have been some long - long breaks taken over the years, but a good story is always worth a watch. I have no defined Genre, I watch everything from Gravity Falls to Psycho Pass to Dead Leaves. Hayao Miyazaki's work to Laika Studio's. DC Universe to Mune: Guardian of the Moon. I know most of these don't really apply to MAL or to this club, but I love Mystery and Psychological and have seen my fair share. I joined MAL to simply write down a list of my watched anime's. But I have discovered some very helpful aspects. 1. A huge Library for searching 2. Similar Recommendations 3. Club Challenges. Which is why I'm here. A little motivating nudge to watch anime I may have never heard of or have been meaning to, in a decent timeframe, not decades.
