| Honestly, the whole "Subaru rejects Rem" thing, it pays off now. The chemistry between the characters is still developing brilliantly, and Rem (knowing she doesn't have much of a chance anyway) says every line she thinks out loud, because she can get away with it. As for the animation, well, it's White Fox, so I didn't expect much else. As long as it's in style... |

I just wanted to point out that the budget was probably used on the first episode and all the extended scenes from the lack of OP's and ED's in more than half the episodes which would make sense that the budget would have dried up faster. The others seem kinda butthurt about what he said though xDDD. |

| Rem's "best girl points" just shot through the roof this episode. Watching Whilhelm's flash backs and relationship with his wife just made the contrast with his anger in the fight that much more significant. And finally, that final scene was a whole other type of emotional that made you wanna cry, not some tragedy, but some longing so desired that once fulfilled you just wanna break down and cry. |

| Awsome episode, the battle is good. I think subaru will kiss rem. Next for the second climax i think. 5/5 for this eps Btw where is the trolls or the haters? Will they show up when the witch cultist show up too?? Because without them, MAL lacks of drama hahaha Wonder about that though |

| So awesome, for everyone to respect Subaru :3 It's good to see that Subaru have finally learned the meaning of a real hero :3 I still ship Rem x Subaru :3 Now that Julius is here it's gonna heat up but I think they should become friends since Julius did show that he isn't a such a bad person :3 Well overall a super great Episode and can't wait for the next episode Since this anime is 25 episodes only and the witch hasn't appeared yet, and all the new things that happened I can't believe that a few more episodes will complete this anime, I think a Second season will be nice if they can end it in a great manner with hype than ruining the anime with a bad ending :3 |

| Man this was just an absolutely incredible episode. The parts with Wilhelm's flashback as he was killing the whale about how he managed to make his wife drop her sword and how they fell in love was heartbreaking, just so much feels. Of course the feels couldn't end there either, all the Rem and Subaru scenes this episode also had to hurt my heart, just holy shit Rem can't be anymore best girl. That forehead touch they both did while smiling was the cutest fucking thing ever. AOTY and definitely one of my favorite anime of all time. |

| Oh my goodness this had so many great moments Subaru standing on the Whale's horn like a boss and saying he's annoying is like the best thing EVER Wilhelm killing the Whale was incredible The Subaru and Rem moment at the ending was SO GOOD. God I love this so much, I lost count of the number of times this has made me cry |

| Good episode. I laughed way too hard when Rem said "The only one who may sniff Subaru-kun is me" XD The fight was pretty cool to watch, Subaru can actually do stuff if he puts his mind too it, He can be smart but when he's traumatized he does a complete 180. Subaru landing on top of the whale was cool and all but pretty over the top, I don't remember him having those kind of physical abilities. XD The sky dive after that was epic though. I'm happy that Wilhelm didn't die, I was so sure he would die. That part where he just savagely butchered the whale while remembering his wife was awesome. I know that most people will probably say Rem was the best or maybe Wilhelm but for me Crusch was easily the MVP, Her speech was really great and she boasts some really good leadership skills, Her troops probably have real respect for her given the way she was able to moralize them. I also liked Subaru's conversation with her more than Rem, Granted the scene with Rem was really sweet and touching I felt that his interaction with Crusch was far more meaningful in terms of Subaru actually being able to achieve something, Gain a person's respect and change their impression of him for the better. It's also nice to see Crusch saying she will remain friends with him even if they were to be enemies some day. She has quite some knightly pride xD The art in the still post the fight and post the rem scene was brilliant. Julius at the end :| , I hope Subaru doesn't start raging again. Memor said: Wow, something positive happened in Re:Zero. I don't know why I find this amusing XD |

White Fox, please OVA EX 2 story of Wilhelm's past plz~~ Though I'm slightly disappointed that Overall a 4+1(my fanboy bias) episode for me. | Subaru finally gets his feel good moment, so those other 2 whales were just clones, le let's defeat the original one is I guess better than another cheap asspull cop out, I thought they were going with the "left eyes is it's weak point, we just figured it out!" I would've laughed my ass off if they did. Maybe I'll start caring about Wilhelm now that his typical backstory is out of the way and he alligned himself with Subaru, Wilhelm vs Betelgeuse next? Mimi's brother introduction completely overshadowed by purple hair guy who humiliated Subaru.  Might be forgetting someone else there. |

| It's a wonderful episode. Even I want to kill Subaru when he's landed in that soft part of Rem... Rem, your love is so pure... and so, next episode will be about that crazy occult I think, another great fight, and maybe another "let's just die and do it over again." Well, I dunno, let's wait for another week. |

Note back to the episode where the Whale killed Rem and everybody forgot about her? Note sure exactly about it but I just highly doubt she's dead.. The whale wipes your very existence by hitting you with that fog beam or whatever. Subaru stated it's a Fog of Elimination in episode 20 (close to the 14:00 mark if you want to check) That means that Rem was hit by it's fog in episode 17. And it means that Theresia wasn't hit by the fog, was killed in some other way or wasn't killed at all. Who knows? |
